The quaint community, with its colonial structures and tiny bridges, carries on the spirit of magical realism.

The producers are the real story at Cacao Hunters. Cacao Hunters work with indigenous farmers in post-conflict Colombia who have guided the makers on a journey through different regions of Colombia to discover incredibly rare origins. Today farmers utilizing ancestral traditions are now able to make cacao harvesting a sustainable living option for their families.

Cacao Hunters works with and rewards producers in 5 regions of Colombia creating a positive impact in the lives of more than 1,500 cacao producing families throughout Colombia. They provide technical assistance at their Cacao School and stable prices which are currently twice the market prices.  Further encouraging farmers to harvest the best quality cacao in a sustainable environment.
