Balsamic Vinegar

Malpighi Balsamic Vinegar has been a family tradition for several centuries. They are famous for their Tradizionale Balsamic Vinegar that has been aged a minimum of 12 years and is offered up to it’s 100 year old edition. However in their quest to share their family’s traditions they were one of the first to develop high quality Condimento grades that are considerably less expensive. In other words the ingredient list is short just grape must  and in Tradizionale but they take a couple of short cuts so that it is affordable. Malpighi also makes our favorite White Balsamic Vinegar that offers brighter acidity and is very versatile. Their fruit vinegar is made by cooking real fruit with the must or by infusing the herbs in to the must.

This is a really great producer that offers a traditional flavor profiles that are sweet but not sickeningly so as are many of the products found at retail.
